Lady Gaga gears up for her O2 gigs with tea, wine and yoga
SUPERSTAR Lady Gaga has jetted into town ahead of the first of her three sold-out concerts in the O2 tonight.
And the Herald can exclusively reveal that the extravagant singer has wasted no time setting up home in the Four Seasons Hotel in Ballsbridge.
The peroxide blonde's personal assistant issued the lavish hotel with a number of special requests in a telephone conversation on Friday to ensure everything was perfect ahead of the chart-topping singer's eagerly awaited arrival.
And surprisingly, all of the Poker Face singer's demands appear to be rather normal compared to her paparazzi-ready uniform of outrageous ensembles.
Top of her "requirements" include a highly qualified Bikram Yoga and Pilates instructor, to ensure her tiny figure is in peak condition for her skimpy costumes.
An insider revealed: "The hotel had a call from one of her assistants on Friday with a number of special requests.
"They booked out a huge number of rooms for her and her dancers but Lady Gaga is staying in the hotel's most exclusive suite.
"They had a small number of special requests including that a Bikram Yoga and Pilates expert be available round the clock during her stay as apparently she sometimes likes to wind down by working out after a show."
Bikram Yoga is also known as Hot Yoga. The vigorous yoga session is performed in a stifling 40- degree heat, promoting profuse sweating and making the body more flexible -- it burns up to 600 calories an hour, perhaps explaining Gaga's super-svelte figure.
Top Irish models Nadia Forde and Sara Kavanagh are also big fans of the workout.
The hotel source also revealed Lady Gaga is keen to make time for some pampering during her six- day stay here.
"They also asked for a massage therapist to be readily available whenever she requires and said she will more than likely want some other beauty treatments like manicures and pedicures during her stay.
"Other than that they asked for a constant good supply of fresh fruit and bottles of water at room temperature to be in her room."
The 24-year-old's holistic hotel requests are in stark contrast to the bizarre demands allegedly part of her tour contract with arenas, including the O2 in Dublin.
A mole who got a sneak peek at her top-secret tour rider last week revealed she requests two things above all else in her arena dressing room: Manuka honey and an Oxygen tank. And the requests don't end there.
She also requires a well stocked supply of organic ginger and lemongrass tea, in addition to two bottles of white wine, preferably from Kendall Jackson or Robert Mondavi.
If her dinner of rotating international cuisine isn't ready by 5pm, the venue can be in breach of contract, according to the source.
While Ms Gaga has been making herself comfortable in the swanky D4 hotel, her dancers and crew have already been hitting the town.
Some of her entourage and 20-member dance crew were spotted enjoying a night out in the Grafton Lounge on Sunday night, before the singer jetted here from London yesterday.
Rumours are rife that the trendy bar will be hosting the exclusive after-show party for Lady Gaga's final show on Friday night, but Hotspots frontman Garret Brady is remaining tight-lipped about the speculation.
