Jedward welcome worldwide fans

Poptastic double act Jedward will be singing a sweet tune this festive season as they welcome fans from all over the world for their upcoming Christmas shows.

The bubbly boys from Lucan revealed to the Herald how their fan base has grown across Europe, and now even stretches as far as Canada.

"It's really exciting because so many fans from all across the world are travelling over to the Pantomime," said the dynamic duo.

The 21-year-old twins, who first found fame on the X Factor in 2009, cannot wait for the season of cheer to begin as they look forward to celebrating with a "massive get together" of their legions of fans.

REHEARSALS

"We're all over the place, we're in every country" joked the pair who have just begun rehearsals for the upcoming Dublin Bus Panto at the Olympia Theatre.

And, according to the Dublin twins, the best thing about the pantomime season is that it means they will get to spend Christmas at home with their family.

"It's great that we're doing the pantomime because it's a really cool Christmas vibe.

"Everybody comes to the shows and they have a great time; it gets crazy", the boys added.

Tickets for the Dublin Bus Panto, Jedward and the Magic Lamp, at the Olympia Theatre from December 19 to January 6 are on sale now.
