It's a bust as garda 'arrests' Ellie Goulding after Irish gig
She has a clean-cut popstar image, but Ellie Goulding showed off her wild side during her trip to Irish shores this week.
The British singer (28) played to a packed crowd at the Marquee in Cork and shared some very 'arresting' photos of her stay in Ireland.
After her sold-out gig at the city venue, the musician celebrated in style and made some unusual friends in the process. The Burn singer took to Instagram to share a picture of a herself in handcuffs while a local garda jokingly pretended to arrest her.
However, Ellie's accommodation for her visit was far from a prison cell.
The 28-year-old stayed in the lap of luxury at the five-star Hayfield Manor hotel in the city. Ellie, who has been linked to One Direction singer Niall Horan, lived it up in the manor's lavish Executive Suite, which she showed off on Instagram.
"Had such a wonderful stay, thank you lovely people of Hayfield Manor it was rad," the singer captioned the picture, which she shared with her 5.7m followers.
Ellie's Cork concert was also a big night for Dublin singer Blooms, who landed one of her biggest gigs to date supporting the popstar.
Speaking ahead of the show, the Stoneybatter woman revealed she was excited to play before Ellie.
"It is tough, but when bigger gigs come up it feels like your hard work is paying off," Blooms, whose real name is Louise Cunnane, told the Herald.
