In Vogue: Hozier tames his long locks for glam magazine shoot
Hozier has been given the seal of approval from style bible Vogue.
The Take Me To Church singer appears in a high-fashion spread opposite Brazilian model Caroline Trentini in the June issue.
The Bray native is known for his trademark locks but many have noticed that his tresses are much more polished that usual in the magazine.
He recently admitted that he "battles" with his management over his hair.
"It's a constant battle I have with my manager and label. Every television show I do the hair 'has' to be down, apparently," he said.
When he's at home, Hozier turns to top Irish stylist Grace Moore to dress him but he revealed that top designers are queueing up to give him clothes.
"I'd turn up for something and go, 'Hey how about I just wear this jacket?'
"And now I've got clothing companies just flinging clothes at me. The stress of it," he said.
Naturally, his manager Caroline Downey was so excited that he was featured in the magazine.
"Love Hozier in the June edition of American Vogue. All the photos are fantastic. Hard to pick a favourite," she said.
The 24-year-old has had a whirlwind year during which his profile in the US has soared.
He has appeared on numerous American chat shows such as Late Night with David Letterman and the Ellen DeGeneres Show as well as Saturday Night Live.
Earlier this year the fashion world fell in love with him when he performed at the Victoria's Secret fashion show in London.
Just last weekend, the former Trinity College Dublin student won two gongs at the iconic Billboard Music Awards.
He won Top Rock Artist and Top Rock Song for his debut single, which has gone on to become a world-wide hit, Take Me To Church.
He had also been nominated in the Top Rock Album, Top New Artist, and Top Streaming Song categories.
