Aidan Gillen has beautiful day at U2 show with new partner Camille
Game of Thrones star Aidan Gillen has gone public with the woman in his life – singer Camille O’Sullivan.
The Hollywood star (47), who made his name with his stint in The Wire, was spotted canoodling with the striking brunette at U2’s concert in Belfast, the Diary can reveal.
The notoriously private actor was seen having a beautiful day with his other half at the concert in the SSE arena on Thursday.
A source said that he and Camille (41) were “very lovey-dovey” and looked the picture of happiness as they enjoyed the Innocence and Experience tour alongside stars such as actress Emma Watson.
“The pair of them were dancing away and were very touchy-feely the whole night.
“They seemed very close and are clearly enjoying each other’s company,” he said.
Gillen, who plays Petyr Baelish on Game of Thrones, wasn’t the only familiar face from the HBO show enjoying some downtime from filming.
Also at the show were his pals Liam Cunningham and Kristofer Hivju. The cast are busy filming the sixth series of the hit fantasy series in the North, with many scenes shot in the studios in the Titanic quarter.
Drumcondra-born Gillen set tongues wagging a few months ago after O’Sullivan accompanied him to the season five premiere of Game of Thrones in San Francisco.
The actor rarely comments on his personal life, but he has been seen at a number of events with O’Sullivan in the past few months as they quietly continued their romance.
They were seen at an art exhibition in Dublin as well as at a number of venues around the city centre.
Gillen, who played crime boss John Boy in the first two seasons of Love/Hate, has lots in common with acclaimed performer O’Sullivan, given that they both attended the Dublin Youth Theatre.
They both also toured with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The couple are also parents. O’Sullivan has a two-year-old daughter while Gillen has two children from a previous relationship, Berry (17) and Joe (14).
Born in London to a French mother and Irish father, O’Sullivan moved to Ireland when she was a child. The star, who once dated Mario Rosenstock, studied fine art for a year, but graduated as an architect before going on to become a performer. O’Sullivan did not respond to the Diary when asked for a comment.
