Model turned blogger Madeline Mulqueen joined a host of talented Irish ladies for an afternoon of chat in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

Organised by former Tallafornia star Kelly Donegan, bloggers, journalists and PR gurus took to the stage at Harry's on the Green yesterday to share their experiences at the #Trek4Life event.

Blogger Ciara O'Doherty, model Laura O'Grady and beauty editor Aisling Keenan were among a host of others who shared their top tips on everything from beauty and fashion to business.

Kelly is an ambassador for the Irish Cancer Society and is raising money ahead of her trek to Machu Picchu later this month.

While the girls were enjoying a very civilised afternoon yesterday, the lads made a bee line for top club Lillie's.

Funnyman Al Porter was also spotted partying at the club with pals, after his appearance on the Late Late Show on Friday.

Elsewhere, President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina attended Beautiful Lofty Things: An evening with WB Yeats at the National Concert Hall on Saturday night.

The event was presented by Poetry Ireland in partnership with Yeats2015 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Nobel Prize-winning poet.
