Laura Whitmore and ex Danny O'Reilly rock out at London's V Festival
There was an Irish invasion at the trendy V Festival this weekend.
Festival-lover Laura Whitmore was on hosting duties, covering the event for MTV.
And, as fate would have it, her ex-boyfriend and Coronas frontman Danny O'Reilly was performing nearby on the MTV stage.
The couple were rumoured to be back together after they were spotted locking lips in a North London park in May of this year, but it was clear the relationship was over when Laura was pictured on a romantic holiday in Ibiza with rocker Rory Williams.
Having performed their set early in the day, The Coronas darted away from the MTV Stage to check out some of the other Irish acts.
"We played early and had a cool little crowd," O'Reilly said.
"Now we have the day off so we are going to relax by seeing a few bands. We're going to see Hozier because he never lets you down."
Danny also revealed that The Coronas will headline the New Year's Eve concert on College Green in Dublin later this year.
"I'm pretty sure we are doing that," he said.
Kodaline, The Script and rockabilly singer Imelda May also wowed the 50,000 strong crowd in London.
According to MCD boss Caroline Downey it was a weekend of "great music, weather and margaritas".
Having finished presenting, Laura made sure to kick back by partying with headliners Kasabian and "fangirling" when she met All Saints singer Nicole Appleton.
Laura left MTV earlier this year to pursue other projects, but still fronts occasional series and shows.
She is now working on a new jewellery line with the British brand Daisy London.
The collection, comprised of feminine pendants, rings and bracelets, will be available online from October.
The Laura Whitmore x Daisy London collection is inspired by the Bray native's passion for music - evident in the pieces shaped like guitar plectrums.
The dainty pieces are decorated with Laura's favourite quotes.
