SOCCER star David Beckham's management company has said he has no plans to play in Australia -- despite speculation of a move Down Under.
The Football Federation Australia (FFA) said that it had received an approach by an agent representing the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder to play some matches with an A-League team this season.
But Beckham's management company responded by saying: "There is always enormous interest from clubs across the world in signing David as a player. There are absolutely no plans to play in Australia."
Beckham signed a new two-year contract with Galaxy in January but has previously had two loan spells with AC Milan in Major League soccer off-seasons.
