I'm the happiest I've ever been, says loved-up Nadia Forde as she poses with rugby player beau
Model-turned-singer Nadia Forde has said she's the "happiest she's ever been" with her new boyfriend Dominic Day.
The Clontarf native has been seeing the Welsh rugby player for six months and the couple recently enjoyed a holiday together.
"It was just me and the cats for three years before Dom," she said.
"He makes me feel like I'm part of a team. This is definitely the happiest I've ever been in a relationship."
The 26-year-old said she can't wait to see him play in the upcoming Rugby World Cup, which kicks off later this month.
Posing in a spread for OK! magazine with his new girlfriend, Dominic said the pressure is on ahead of the competition.
"I didn't even watch the selection and didn't think I had a hope of being picked, so I was one of the last to know I'd been selected," he said.
"Rugby is very big in Wales so I do feel the pressure, but my family and friends are so proud."
It's been a tough few months for Nadia, as her mother Bernice passed away following a battle with cancer in June.
"Dom was away at the time but sent a big, beautiful bunch of flowers, apologising that he couldn't be there with me, at that moment, on that day," she said. "I completely wasn't expecting it but was so touched.
"I still have the card in my purse," she added.
The pair were introduced by Dom's fellow Bath player Peter Stringer and his wife Debbie and they have been enjoying a low-key romance until now.
They were recently spotted partying at a house in Dublin with their matchmaking pals and Nadia was in her hometown yesterday.
"She's really toned up and looks fantastic," a source said.
"She's eating really well and working hard in the gym, and it's paying off.
"She's going to be snapped a lot in the next few weeks and wants to look her best."
