I’m not fazed by hitting the big three-oh, says model mum Pippa

SHE'S leaving her twenties behind her in a matter of weeks, but top model Pippa O'Connor "can't wait" to toast her 30th this summer.

Following in the footsteps of pal Rosanna Davison, the mum-of-one will blow out her candles in August and revealed to the Diary that she's not fazed in the least by the milestone birthday.

"I say bring it on, I'm kind of excited about it to be honest," she said.

"It's been happening slowly, my friends around me are turning 30 and I don't mind one bit."

Pippa has decided not to throw a lavish bash for the occasion, instead insisting she'll opt for a quiet gathering of pals on the day.

"I'll probably celebrate it in a small way with close friends and family, but nothing big or anything like that," she said.

The Kildare native is enjoying one of the busiest periods of her working career at the moment and is thriving as, she juggles life as a mum to one-year-old son Ollie and a growing entrepreneur.

"I'm embracing it while it's there," she said.

Her website has now become a full-time operation.

"It has exceeded all my expectations, which is fantastic," she said.

"I have a really good readership and a very loyal following.

"There will be no more babies yet anyway."

Blonde Pippa, who is married to television host Brian Ormond, is eager to take on even more if her schedule allows.

She got a chance to present on RTE alongside her other half earlier this year.

The couple (inset), who have been married three years, co-anchored the national lottery slot on RTE.

The catwalk queen, was on hand yesterday in Dublin to help launch new app PriceSpy, admitted she's hungry for more in the TV studio.

"I would absolutely love to do more TV," she said.

"I really enjoyed doing that with Brian and I'd love to work with him again.

"I'm willing to try my hand at everything - I wouldn't even mind acting.

"There's nothing in the pipeline at the moment though, it's always been difficult to get into that industry in Ireland, but I'll push myself in trying."

Pippa and Brian are planning on taking a professional break soon to kick back and enjoy some rare time off.

"I'm not great at being organised, but we'll take a few days later in the summer to relax - I'm looking forward to it."
