She's been one of Ireland's leading models since she was crowned Miss World in 2003, but Rosanna Davison has admitted she has considered moving into blogging full-time as her new website takes off.

The foodie (31) launched her lifestyle blog in April and she told the Diary that juggling it with her hectic modelling schedule has been tough, especially as she prepares to launch her debut cookbook Eat Yourself Beautiful in August.

"In the first month the website got 122,000 hits which I wasn't expecting at all," she said.

"I was honestly expecting it to be a slow burner but there has already been so much interest.

"It's hard to keep it updated because I'm not a full-time blogger, but who knows, I might be eventually."

While it can be a struggle at times to manage the workload, the qualified nutritionist is happy to keep herself as busy as possible for now.

"I still love [modelling]," she said.

"I love having different elements to my career.

"It's a good balance."

"It'll eventually happen that I'll have to quit. I'm still as busy as ever with the modelling so it's hard to say when I will.

Booked

"I'm sure it will happen in the next few years but while I'm still lucky enough to get booked I'm as well to keep going with it."

She might have a lot on her plate as she prepares to promote her new healthy eating book, but Rosanna insists she's not letting the pressure get to her.

"I try not to put any unnecessary pressure on myself," she said.

This is all new to me - I've never released a book before.

"I'm really excited about book signings and meeting people. It's the next stage of my career and I couldn't be happier about it

"If what I'm doing inspires people to change their eating habits or lifestyle in some way and helps them then that's what I want."

As her career takes off, the model and her husband Wes Quirke are in no rush to start a family - though Rosanna plans on putting her nutrition knowledge to good use when the loved-up pair start feeling broody.

"I'm healthy and I know how to get my body ready to give myself the best chance - and how to boost Wesley's fertility too," she said.

"My parents would love to be grandparents and Wesley and I would love to start a family," she said.

"The last year has just been so busy."
