>>focus your eyes just above the camera lens to avoid a double chin.

>>move your face forward slightly and tip down the chin.

>>Put your tongue behind your upper teeth when you smile. This will relax the face.

>>For the classic model pose, turn the body three quarters of the way towards the camera, with one foot in front of the other. Keep your hands off your hips, though -- you don't want to look like a complete poser.

>>Avoid reflective materials and patterns like the plague.

>>Avoid sun factor when you're having your photo taken. When a camera flash meets SPF, the result is a ghostly pallor.
