Go wild with cut-price festive trip to the zoo
With loads of free time over the Christmas holidays, a trip to the zoo is a must and, as it aims for its record millionth visitor before the year ends, Dublin Zoo has dropped its prices to encourage people through the gates.
Adult tickets normally cost €15 -- but you can get in for just €2.50 between now and December 31 if you log onto their Facebook page and "like" it.
It will then let you download a special ticket to gain admission at the knockdown rate. One is enough for the whole family.
So bundle up and bring a picnic -- perhaps you'll even be the lucky 1,000,000th visitor and get a special prize.
