Hollywood stars Amy Schumer, Bill Hader and Judd Apatow will grace the red carpet in Dublin City Centre as part of the Dublin International Film Festival.

The trio will be in Ireland to promote their new comedy Trainwreck, with a special screening.

Trainwreck is comedy director-producer Judd Apatow’s fifth feature film. Trainwreck presents a portrait of an unforgettable character written by, and starring Amy Schumer as a woman who lives her life without apologies, even when maybe apologies are what are needed.

Apatow is renowned for introducing new comedy voices into the mainstream – Amy Schumer will be in great company alongside Seth Rogen, Lena Dunham, Chris O’Dowd and many more.

Also set to appear on the night in Emmy award nominated actor Bill Hader, known for his roles on Saturday Night Live, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Tropic Thunder.

Dublin International Film Festival Director Grainne Humphreys said, “2015 is proving to be the year of Amy Schumer, a pistol smart satirist, a Facebook feminist, a sassy screenwriter who has film friends in all the right places. She has clambered over her fellow comedic peers to ascend to the throne of this year's Comic Most Wanted.”

Tickets for Trainwreck's Irish premier on August 14th are €11 and will be available now to purchase online.

The dates for the Dublin International Film Festival 2016 have also been announced as February 18th to 28th.
