It's lights, camera and action for rising star Tara Lee.

The grunge-loving actress (21) is busy filming her next feature flick, punk inspired drama Moon Dogs.

Set in Scotland, the film tells the story of two teenage stepbrothers, Michael and Thor, who embark on a memorable road trip from Shetland to Glasgow.

Tara plays leading lady and love interest, Caitlin, who comes between the two brothers.

Jack Parry Jones stars as Michael and Christy O'Donnell has been cast as Thor.

Broadchurch's Tanya Franks (aka Lucy Stevens) also appears in the film and former Downton Abbey director Philip John will be behind the camera.

Lee (right) said she was "so, so honoured" to star in such a "special film" especially as the score is being written by Anton Newcombe of 80s band, The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Tara, who previously starred in RTE drama Raw and The Fall alongside Jamie Dornan, recently returned from LA where she signed a music deal.
