Ed Sheeran urges everyone to give up tattoo kerfuffle: ‘If it was black and white saying a clever phrase in a language I can't speak no one would've said anything’
Ed Sheeran’s new tattoo has caused quite a buzz since he posted a photo of the roaring lion on his chest but the singer has urged everyone to give up on the “kerfuffle”.
The Thinking Out Loud singer has clearly been irritated by all the chatter surrounding the debut of his new body art, with some even suggesting he nicked the idea from The Notorious Conor McGregor.
Taking to his Twitter today Ed told his followers that if he had opted for a meaningful quote to scrawl upon his body, nobody would have cared.
“All this kerfuffle over a tattoo. If it was black and white saying a clever phrase in a language I can't speak no one would've said anything,” Ed wrote.
“It's not the first weird tattoo I've got and it won't be the last, but I like all of them. I'm also eating a bowl of pasta now,” he tweeted.
The singer, who is fresh from two sold out gigs in Croke Park, shared a photograph of his new lion tattoo on Instagram last night with the caption: ‘Halfway and Ouch’.
