Corrie goes to Tullamore

CALLING all soap lovers. Corrie stars Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson will be partying in Tullamore this weekend.

The actresses, who play gay couple Sophie Webster and Sian Powers in the soap, will be letting loose at Palace Nightclub, Bridgehouse Hotel, on Saturday night.

The girls, who are best friends off-screen, are taking a much-needed break from the soap, which saw Sacha's character Sian leave the cobbles after their disastrous wedding day. Brooke and Sacha are set to enjoy a day of relaxation at The Sanctuary Spa Saturday afternoon before heading to the club.

•THE series has only just begun but the cast of Tallafornia have started a nationwide tour.

The stars of the new TV3 reality series are following in the footsteps of top shows Geordie Shore and The Only Way Is Essex and have started charging for club appearances.

The full cast will be making a special appearance at the Electric Garden Nightclub at the Porterhouse, Bray, this Saturday night.

Lucky clubbers at the Southside hot spot will get their chance to party Tallaght style this weekend.

Star of the show Dave Behan will be returning to the club where he once worked as a bouncer.

•KATHERINE HEIGL has announced that she'd love to return to Grey's Anatomy.

The actress hung up Dr Izzie Stevens's scrubs in 2010 -- after playing her for six seasons -- because she wanted to focus on raising her adopted daughter Naleigh, who is now three.

But Katherine has now said that she would like to reprise her role in the medical drama.

The 33-year-old said: "Yeah totally. I really, really, really want to see where (Izzie) is."

She continued: "I just want to know what happened to her."

•TOP media insiders have been invited to the 10th birthday of the Jameson International Film Festival next month.

The who's who of the film industry will be attending the birthday bash on Thursday, February 2, to honour the festival.

The invite-only event takes place at the revamped Light House Cinema, Smithfield starting at 6.30pm.

Entertainment will be provided by The Minutes and VIP guests will get a sneak peek at the 2012 festival programme.

•IRISH chart-toppers The Coronas will be playing a rare gig in Dubai next month.

After a successful run at the Olympia at Christmas, the foursome, who recently released their second studio album, Closer To You, will play an intimate gig in the Irish-owned Bonnington Hotel.

The band are playing two nights in the hotel's Irish bar McGettigan's pub on February 16 and 17.

Last year GAA star Paul Galvin, comedian PJ Gallagher and RTE star Kathryn Thomas all visited the popular Dubai hotel.

•Tickets for this year's Body and Soul festival are still on sale.
