Bray to Buckingham Palace, Laura hangs out with royalty
SHE gets to hang out in some of the hippest venues in the world as an MTV presenter.
But Laura Whitmore topped even her own impressive list of lunch-date haunts when she was invited for an afternoon at Buckingham Palace.
The Bray native was among the select few who got to attend the launch of the Queen's Young Leaders at the historic royal residence in London this week, hosted by Princes William and Harry.
The 29-year-old gave fans a sneak peek behind the doors of the palace, posting a number of pictures throughout the day with fans online.
Among them was a shot inside a plush looking bathroom, as well as a picture of herself in the palace grounds with fellow TV anchors Matt Richardson and Helen Skelton-Myler
Laura opted for a powder blue outfit on the day, turning up in a matching dress and bag from high street store Oasis.
She teamed it with a marble-effect coat and a pair of nude Kurt Geiger high heels.
Laura has been living the high life lately, enjoying a string of fun events.
She has attended music festivals Glastonbury and Wireless already this month.
Despite her busy schedule, she was back in her home country last week to introduce rising superstar Jack Reynor's new summer film Transformers: The Age of Extinction.
DCU graduate Laura got her big TV break in 2008, when she beat thousands of hopefuls to land a hosting gig with MTV.
