The Dubliner, who shot to fame on the English version of The Apprentice, was plotting a return to TV across the Irish Sea.
In recent months, the Diary revealed how she had travelled to London to meet with top agents in the hope of securing a place in a new comedy series.
But it appears RTE are keen to hang on to the witty presenter and have moved quickly to get her to commit to another season of Republic Of Telly.
"Well I have just bought a house here, I'm just about to move in and there is a lot of work to be done. And at the same time I'm trying to keep my business (Bella The Makeup Studio) going, our sister office in Limerick is still very new so I'm doing a lot of work there.
"And I have been signed up for another season of Republic Of Telly next year, which is great, so you are stuck with me now," she laughed.
The comedy show has been gaining popularity with ratings for the current series better than ever.
So far Georgia Salpa, Roz Purcell, Emma Waldron and Glenda Gilson have all filmed for the hit show and Jennifer says they have been a great addition.
"It's been great having them on. If they come on the show they know that they can't take themselves too seriously which is great to watch."
And even though she admits to being happy working in Irish television for now, the presenter says she won't be going after the new hosting gig for Winning Streak.
Many of RTE's big female names are queuing up to replace Kathryn Thomas on the Saturday night favourite. Jennifer says it wouldn't be her style but admits the show could do with some humour.
"Presenting Winning Streak? It's not my kind of thing. They do a great job but it's just not me. Although maybe they should get a comedian on there to bring a bit of humour to a somewhat boring show," she said.
But the bubbly host admitted that she wouldn't mind following Bray star Laura Whitmore into the Australian Jungle soon.
The MTV host replaced Caroline Flack on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Now! and Jen says it's a dream job.
"I would love to do something like that. It's fun and you can still have a laugh without the life being sucked out of you, plus you get to live in Australia. How amazing would that be? Laura is definitely flying the flag for Irish presenters and doing us proud right now," she admitted.
Meanwhile, when Jennifer's not in RTE studios filming, the TV star is busy preparing to move into her first house.
The presenter has just bought a house in Ranelagh with boyfriend of five years Lau Zamparelli and although she admits they have the perfect relationship, Jennifer says they won't be walking up the aisle anytime soon.
"I really can't wait to move into the new house and get stuck in. It needs some work but I love it. I don't know what really makes me and Lau work. I think we just bring out the best out in each other.
"Although we do kill each other in the car and get very competitive over our driving," she admitted.
