We'll wed in 2013...if we can find the time - model Sarah

FORMER Miss Ireland Sarah Morrissey (29) is hoping to walk down the aisle in 2013 after her surprise engagement to long-term boyfriend Pat Jennings Jnr.

The catwalk beauty has revealed how the smitten couple are going to try to make things official next year -- but only if she has the time to plan everything.

"Obviously we've talked about marriage before and we'll sit down after Christmas holidays and set a date. We haven't set one yet but I would like to have it somewhere warm, so maybe Italy," she said.

"If I have time to organise it, then yeah I would love it next year but if I don't, it will be the year after."

Given that her good pal and fellow top model Aoife Cogan got married to beau Gordon D'Arcy last July, she'll have no shortage of friends to ask for advice.

"I should just get one of them to organise it -- they've done it before so it should be no bother to them," she laughed.

Speaking about the proposal itself, which saw the son of former Arsenal goalkeeper Pat Jennings proposing during a trip to New York, she admits she was "so shocked" but also delighted.

FAVOURITE

Sarah and the footballer turned fitness coach have been dating for six and a half years so getting hitched was on the cards.

"It was in New York so it was nice and romantic because it's our favourite place, so we said we'll have go go back on our anniversary every year now."

Sarah just spent her first Christmas with her fiance at his parents' London home but they'll be celebrating New Year in Dublin.

"This is the first year we spent Christmas together because he's from London and he goes back every year and I stay in Dublin. But this year, we alternated it so Christmas Day was spent in London with his family and New Year's Eve in Dublin with my family," she said.
