The Mullingar native and his band -- Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson (right) -- have just broken the record for the biggest-selling calendar ever.
With a string of number one hits, two number one albums, their own dolls, a 3D movie and their own brand of perfume on the way, it seemed that things could not get any better for the chart-toppers.
But now One Direction is outselling the second-best-selling calendar from British Olympian Tom Daley by three to one.
And the boys are outselling tween sensation Justin Bieber, who is third in the top 20 bestselling 2013 celebrity calendars at Amazon.co.uk.
Niall and One Direction have claimed the best-selling calendar spot for the second year running.
"Before 2011, no one could ever get near Cliff Richard at the top of the calendar charts, but there is no doubting that One Direction has taken his crown," Darren Hardy, books manager at Amazon, said.
However, the boy band is not having everything its own way, being left empty-handed following Wednesday night's Grammy nominations, despite their debut album Up All Night having topped the Billboard 200 album chart.
And the band has shown that it is not above the law after Niall and Louis were stopped by New York police when Louis was filming standing in their car's sun roof. After a brief telling-off, they were let on their way.
