And at the end of her three-month stint, the Today FM star's locks still look as salon-fresh as ever.
Mairead is still singing the praises of the revolutionary treatment and said she can't wait to have it done again.
The mum-of-one, a regular on RTE's The Panel, was one of the first well-known faces to undergo the procedure at the Dylan Bradshaw salon.
Aimed at taming frizzy and unruly hair, Dylan says that after just one €200 treatment hair has a smooth, sleek salon blow-dried finish every day for up to 12 weeks.
Speaking to the Herald, Mairead said: "I'm definitely going to get it done again."
She originally feared the results were too good to be true and that her "fresh from the hairdressers look" wouldn't last.
However, she said: "It's been over 12 weeks now and my hair is still in great condition.
"When the mornings start getting wintry, cold and darker again and I can't bear to get up early in the morning so my hair looks good, I'll definitely have it done again, probably around October."
Since the service, known as 'Botox for hair', was launched at the beginning of the summer, women have been signing up in droves for the treatment.
Dylan said: "We're absolutely out the door -- the phones are hopping.
"For every one woman that gets it done, five or six of her friends are coming in afterwards. It's just great."
