The Insider: VIP Screening Ireland v Slovakia

wwwA select group of media insiders will enjoy VIP treatment at members-only club Residence on St Stephen's Green next Tuesday at a special screening of the Ireland versus Slovakia soccer game takes place.

Invitees can look forward to a selection of light bites and a drink in the top floor bar of the popular celeb haunt. The event will be run by 3, one of the sponsors of the Irish football team, and kicks off from 6.30pm.

The style event showcased pieces by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Andrea Branzi, Alan Chan, Mario Trimarchi, Marcel Wanders and Alessandro Mendini and many others.

The store will also host a number of design workshops tomorrow afternoon.

wwwPOPULAR restaurant chain Eddie Rockets celebrated its 21st birthday last night with an invite-only bash in their Dundrum branch.

Invitees had the opportunity to sample the brand new Sliders n Fries, mini hotdogs and milkshakes, with the party kicking off from 6pm.

Later in the night guests were treated to a special screening of Back to the Future at movies@Dundrum.
