Susie is heading for summer in the city to be with beau Rob
WE'LL be seeing a lot more of rugby WAG Susie Amy as she prepares to move here to be closer to her beau Rob Kearney.
The Diary can reveal the former Footballers' Wives star (29) is planning to make the capital her permanent base over summer after being approached to star in a new Irish-based film.
The brunette, who shot to fame playing Chardonnay in the hit ITV series, told friends she was planning to take the role to spend more time with her boyfriend of six months.
"Susie and Rob have been making every effort to spend as much time as possible together since they started dating but it's not always easy when they're both committed to living in different countries for their careers," a close pal said.
"She's just been approached about appearing in a film over here and now that she has a gap in her schedule after filming 71 Degrees North she's hoping it will all go to plan.
"Susie's reluctant to commit to moving to Ireland permanently until they've lived in the same place for a while so this is the perfect opportunity for them to take their relationship to the next level."
Since meeting Leinster player Rob (24) through a mutual friend before Christmas, the actress has been a regular visitor to Dublin, but admits that she had her doubts about starting a long-distance relationship with the Co Louth sportsman.
"We have a mutual friend, one of the guys that Rob was on the Lions tour with, who introduced us," Susie said. "He thought we'd get on really well and I sort of said 'Over the sea? This isn't going to work out for me'. Then we spoke a few times and eventually we ended up meeting and we just got on really well.
"It's difficult us not living in the same place, but we've made it work, even though it's not ideal. I'm over here quite a lot and he's over with me when he can be. We see each other quite a lot."
The London-born actress says there is no sign of marriage on the horizon, however.
"You'd have to ask him about that, it's not up to me to deal with questions like that," she said when asked on RTE's Tonight With Craig Doyle.
Susie also revealed how she has lost the feeling in her big toe since taking part in ITV's celebrity reality series 71 Degrees North.
She joined a host of big names including Diarmuid Gavin, Gavin Henson and Shane Richie, competing to make it to the Arctic circle.
