The model promptly burst into tears after her boyfriend of six years presented her with a €40,000 diamond sparkler as he sealed the deal on their relationship. Now she's considering all her options for what should be the showbiz wedding of the year when her famous father Chris de Burgh walks her down the aisle.
"I'm really enjoying all the celebrations and we're looking at the summer of 2014 as a possibility but we haven't thought much further than that," she said. "We both quite like the idea of a wedding abroad with close family and friends. But first I'm going to organise an engagement bash when we're home."
Her father said: "I'm so proud and happy for Rosie and Wes. They make a wonderful couple and the whole family loves him."
