Radio presenter Rebecca says Take Me Out ... again
A radio broadcaster who scored herself a boyfriend from an RTE dating show is giving love a second chance on TV3's Take Me Out.
The Herald can reveal how Q102 presenter Rebecca Lee (26) from Glenageary is keeping her fingers crossed she'll meet her dream guy on the latest instalment of the dating series fronted by Ray Foley.
She previously dated a guy named Niall Pike, from Rathfarnham, after meeting him on the reality show and the pair ended up going out together for eight months.
But although things "didn't work out" between them, she still hasn't given up her hopes of finding Mr Right on TV.
"I haven't given up. You never know where you're going to meet the love of your life so I thought I may as well give it a go," she said.
And the bubbly blonde revealed how this year's would-be suitors were a mixed batch when it came to the overall standard. "It's 50-50 to be honest with you. Some of them are really hot, which is great. Some of them are a bit strange, there's a few weird characters in there as well," she said.
"I think some of the girls just want to stay on the show to be on TV and keep turning their lights off early.
"They can be hard on some of the guys and a few got kicked off unfairly," she added.
