Pippa so broody after bonding with my baby niece, says Brian
GOLDEN couple Pippa O'Connor and Brian Ormond have set tongues wagging that they're eager to start a family together as soon as they tie the knot.
The Diary can reveal that the engaged lovebirds have been getting in some all important baby-handling practice in recent days, which has got them thinking about the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
The pair looked the picture of happiness as they got to grips with Brian's new baby niece Eva, whom they met for the first time over the weekend during their latest trip to the US.
Father-of-one Brian, who has a nine-year-old daughter Chloe from a previous relationship, couldn't help commenting on what a natural his beautiful girlfriend is with children.
He posted an adorable picture of Pippa and Eva on his Twitter page and admitted he wouldn't be surprised if bonding with his niece makes her broody.
"Pippa's getting practice. Now she'll be broody," he tweeted, along with two cute photographs.
Just weeks after living it up in London with celebrity pals Brian Dowling and Claudine Keane, the blissfully happy pair, who will wed in style in Enniskerry and the Ritz Carlton hotel next summer, are on a lavish, all-expenses-paid trip to the Big Apple.
Former RTE presenter Brian (31) is the guest of honour on the National Lottery's annual VIP trip to New York, thanks to his work on the series The Money Game last summer.
And his lucky model fiancee Pippa (26) decided to ditch the catwalk for five days to join him. They appear to be having a ball in the 'concrete jungle', even taking in an expensive helicopter ride over the swanky island of Manhattan together.
They also attended a black-tie gala ball on a boat over the weekend.
The trip marks their second holiday in the Big Apple this year. They spent their first Valentine's Day as a newly engaged couple stranded in New York in February after the heaviest snowfalls on record.
Meanwhile, Pippa has been trying to keep details of their upcoming wedding on June 18 under-wraps until closer to the date, fearing people will be sick of hearing about it.
But it seems the nuptials are constantly on her mind as she has even taken time to peak at a few more wedding dresses in New York, despite already having ordered one.
Details of their top-secret wedding are slipping out, with the super-slim model said to be sparing no expense on planning her special day, even ordering a custom-made Monique Lhuillier gown from LA for the occasion.
The high-end couturier has previously made wedding dresses for Britney Spears, Pink and Natalie Imbruglia.
The supreme quality of her designer gowns is reflected in the price tags and the bridal line typically runs from €2,000 to €10,000.
The couple are set to have 120-plus guests, including Pippa's new agency boss Andrea Roche, Rosanna Davison, Claudine and Robbie Keane, Brian Dowling, Aidan Power and Keith Duffy.
