NEWLY single Laura Whitmore will be partying on Irish soil as she gets over her split from musician Danny O'Reilly.
The 27-year-old had appeared to indicate in a recent interview that all was not right between her and the Corona's frontman.
During the interview, she spoke about her boyfriend being "the least rock 'n' roll person ever" and hinted that all was not well.
She described it as "ridiculously hard" keeping the flame alight between them as she spent six weeks working down-under on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now.
"But every relationship is hard. Even if we both worked 9 to 5 jobs, we'd have our own troubles," she said.
The magazine interview was done several weeks ago, prior to Laura and Danny splitting up, but appears to have been right on the money in highlighting the discord.
Reports emerged at the start of this month that the couple had decided to call time on the romance.
The Bray beauty had spent more than six weeks down-under filming I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now.
Prior to going over, she had stated that Danny would be joining her for the final leg of her stint in Australia.
But it became clear there were problems between the pair after he never flew over to join her.
Instead, DCU graduate Laura posted a string of poolside pics of herself and her good pal Amanda Byram enjoying themselves in the Aussie sunshine and on night outs.
Neither Danny nor Laura have yet publicly commented about the split, with Laura always preferring to play her cards close to her chest.
"I think you have to make the decision whether or not you want to be open about your relationships," she said.
But both she and Danny have both been throwing themselves into their pre-Christmas schedules as they keep busy after the end of their two-year relationship.
Danny and his chart-topping band took to the stage at the O2 Dublin for a packed concert last Friday night. The band headed in to Buck's Townhouse to unwind afterwards as they headed in to the celebrity haunt, which also played host to the Assets model agency Christmas party.
Presenter Laura, who's now signed up to Storm agency, hasn't been sitting at home licking her wounds either. She was pictured enjoying a night out on the town with One Direction star Niall Horan and her London-based pals Niall Breslin and Eoghan McDermott.
