He's one of Ireland's sexiest stars with a love-life to match, but these days Colin Farrell says he isn't looking for one-night stands or quick flings.
Instead, The Seven Psychopaths star wants a woman who can stimulate him mentally – after they've had sex.
The 36-year-old says he wants to have deep and meaningful conversations in bed.
In an interview with German magazine IN, father-of-two Colin said "love is often complicated – sex is much easier".
"But there is still this yearning to find the love of your life. If I could have interesting conversations after sex – I would be in heaven."
The Dead Man Down actor's last serious relationship was with Alicja Bachleda.
The two have a three-year-old son Henry together, but called time on their relationship in 2010.
Last year Colin appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and begged the presenter for tips on how to bag himself a girlfriend.
"Straight up, you are literally the closest thing I have to a girlfriend," he said. "I don't have a type. A human being, you know? I suppose kindness is kind of nice and sexy."
Colin says he now wants to become the best lover and father possible.
"My main task in life is to become a better person, and a better friend, lover and father. There is still a lot for me to do but I'm on the right track."
The Castleknock native was once considered Hollywood's ultimate bad boy. But he says fatherhood has changed him.
"Fatherhood is wonderful, it's so much harder to be away from home now that I have the kids. They're so wonderful, I adore them so much."
Colin is father to Henry and nine-year-old James – his son with model Kim Bordenave. He says becoming a parent puts everything in perspective. "I don't get too stressed about movies anymore, you do your best, and walk away hoping for the best, and go home to the kids."
