Model mum Pippa beaming as baby Oliver is Christened

Model mum Pippa O'Connor was beaming yesterday as she Christened her baby boy Ollie Ormond.

The glowing mum shared a snap of the magical day on Twitter. In the shot, Pippa (29) wears a white pleated vest with spaghetti straps and holds baby Ollie, who is dressed in pristine white baby clothes.

"Lovely day for Ollie's Christening," she wrote beside it. Proud dad Brian said it was a fantastic family day.

"We had the ceremony in a local church and the afters at Carton House so we're enjoying it all. Having a drink, enjoying it and celebrating Ollie."

The couple welcomed baby Ollie into the world in April.

The couple decided on the name Ollie after seeing a TV ad for the musical Oliver! at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre.

Pippa, who recently turned 29, was back modelling swimwear and bikinis just seven weeks after giving birth.

She said breastfeeding and going for walks helped her slim down.

"To be completely honest, I haven't really done anything except breastfeed Ollie. A lot of people say that breastfeeding helps with the weight, so maybe that's the secret.

"I've started walking with Ollie in his pram every day, which I'm enjoying."

Pippa recently teamed up with husband Brian on TV, co-presenting the National Lottery Big Money Game.

It wasn't the first time the couple had appeared on screen together – they trained rival GAA teams in the 2012 series of Celebrity Bainisteoir.

And they also appeared in hit RTE reality show Brian And Pippa Get Married, which followed their wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Co Wicklow in 2011.
