Meet the Irish teen who's being hailed as the new Kate Moss

SPOT the likeness? Teen beauty Clara McSweeney is being tipped to become the next Kate Moss.

SHE may have only started modelling last month, but the 15-year-old has been raking in job offers and photo shoot requests since joining the books of an agency.

And the Cork native is already being hailed by the fashion industry as the country's next up-and-coming supermodel, with a string of meetings with global scouts lined-up.

Newlywed Andrea Roche, who discovered the secondary school student at one of her model bootcamps earlier this summer, told the Herald that she's been on the lookout for someone of Clara's standard since setting up her model agency AR.

"She's proper high fashion, she's tall enough for runway and she's so photogenic," Andrea explained.

"Her mum Yvonne found out the bootcamp was happening when she was watching Ireland AM one morning and she just thought Clara would like it.

"I nearly died when she walked in, absolutely everybody has said she's a cross between Kate Moss and Victoria's Secret angel Rosie Huntington- Whitely.

"It's not easy to find girls like that. I tweeted a head shot and Kiss magazine were straight onto me to book her."

Over the last few weeks, Clara has posed for the likes of Barry McCall, Lili Forberg and Naomi Gaffney, and is currently in the process of being signed up to New York's exclusive IMG models, which also represents the beautiful Gisele Bundchen.

"It's really handy because Clara was actually born in San Francisco, so she has an American passport.

"That'll be fantastic for her for working.

"They all think I've found a true supermodel," said Tipperary-born Andrea.

Clara, who is still in school in her home town of Kilmurry, Co Cork, is such a hit that she has won out over thousands of hopefuls to meet with a casting company for an Abercrombie & Fitch campaign.

The company is on a worldwide search for new faces and chose the blonde as one of their picks to go forward.

"Clara met with the casting agents in the Clarence hotel yesterday and they loved her look. If she lands this it could mean huge things for her, it would be amazing."
