Laura reveals crush on Script's Danny

Top model Irma Mali had better watch out. MTV beauty Laura Whitmore has revealed she's harbouring a massive crush on Irma's boyfriend of two years, Danny O'Donoghue from The Script.

Although the 25-year-old presenter has interviewed a string of top Hollywood hunks, she revealed she has a soft spot for the Dublin star.

"Danny from The Script is beautiful," she said. "Actually all the guys from The Script are gorgeous. They're probably my favourite people to interview as well. It's that Irish thing; they're so down-to-earth. They were one of the first bands I interviewed so it's really nice to see them doing well."

The sexy star added: "I don't have a specific type but I do like guys who are confident, probably because I'm a bit chatty and they have to be able to cope with that. Looks-wise I like Irish guys, because they're rugged but cute."

And despite her glamorous job meeting some of the sexiest stars, she's still single after telling Stellar magazine that she doesn't have time for romance.

"I used to always get slagged when I was in college because I liked guys in bands and then I got this job and my friends thought it was just going to be one big dating agency for me. But no, I like guys who are creative," she said.

The Bray native, who landed the high-profile presenting job thanks to a TV competition called Pick Me two years ago, was the envy of girls the world over after meeting Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

Embarrassed

However, she described him as being "definitely hung over" during their conversation as he mixed up all his words but described him as "lovely."

"Everyone think he's this huge Hollywood star but then you meet him and he's so shy. I remember saying to him that he was the 'sexiest man alive' and he was all embarrassed. But he's Robert Pattinson. I mean, everyone's in love with him," she said.

When it comes to being bowled over by big-name stars, it seems Laura prefers the older man.

"There's only been a few people I've interviewed where I've said: 'Hi, I'm Laura...' but in my head I'm saying: 'I love you, I love you, I love you,'" she explained.

"I was really impressed by Michael Caine. He's like Hollywood royalty. I was in a hotel and he walked by me and said 'Hi darling,' I was like; 'Hi Michael Caine...Sir Michael Caine.' Then I went to interview him later on and he said: 'I saw you earlier and I thought I knew you.' He was lovely and down to earth."

And after being chosen from thousands of hopefuls herself for her MTV job, she'll shortly be jetting down to New Zealand to be a judge a new version of Pick Me MTV.
