GERRY Ryan's family kept a traditional Sunday lunch date in their dad’s memory.

His five children returned to their father's favourite restaurant as they gathered to remember him.

The emotional lunch came as friends of the star revealed their fears for the 53-year-old’s health in the weeks before his tragic death.

Lawyer Gerald Kean said he lost count of the times he asked his good friend to get healthy.

“I was very worried about him and his health. I was concerned about his eating,” Gerald told the Herald.

Meanwhile, Gerry’s estranged wife Morah went for the weekly family lunch at the Four Seasons hotel with children Lottie (24), Rex (20), Bonnie (17), Elliot (14) and his youngest Babette (10).

“It really hit the kids when they went into the hotel and he wasn't there as usual,” a source said.
