I'm single and ready to take on the world... with 5 agents - Thalia
Top model Thalia Heffernan is single and ready for global stardom as she has secured five agents across the globe.
The Donnybrook native has recently returned from Australia where she spent the summer modelling.
"It's been really busy, I've been non-stop since I've been home," Thalia told the Herald.
"It's about a month and a half since I got back, so I'm getting back into the swing of things and seeing everyone again and I'm working with all my regular people again and it's great, I love it," she continued.
Not only is she signed to Morgan The Agency in Dublin, but she has four other agents dotted throughout the globe.
"I'm with Premier in London, Ford in New York, London Management in Sydney and I have another agency in Germany so anything could happen.
"In terms of travelling, it's always on the cards for me. So, God only knows where I'll be next week," she laughed.
Although Thalia does admit that working in Australia is a different experience to modelling in Dublin.
"It's just different, I just feel that the modelling world in Ireland is such a comfortable scene for me because I know everyone and I've my regular clients and stuff," she revealed.
"I do have regular clients in Australia as well but you miss the girls and having the same people around.
"I have a close relationship with a lot of people in the industry now so it's quite funny when you miss it and you come back, you want to see your work friends as well," she added.
And she does admit that it was hard to fit in with the other models Down Under.
"It's not the most friendly environment," she said.
"The models don't care for you that much. A lot of them just regard you as competition. I'm very friendly, maybe a bit too much sometimes, and they don't know how to react when I bound into a room and they are intimidated by me for the wrong reasons.
"I tried being a cow, too, but it was too hard," she added.
The 19-year-old has previously been linked to One Direction star Niall Horan after they were spotted getting close at 37 Dawson Street after the band wrapped their Croke Park gigs.
But she says she's happy being single at the moment.
"I was too busy to have a boy in my life [in Australia]," she said. "I'm an independent woman and don't need a man," she laughed.
And Thalia says she is determined to keep modelling as she celebrates her fourth year working as a model next month.
"I'm enjoying it and I'm busy and the last few years have just flown by," she said. "I guess that was because a lot of it was when I was in school as well.
"It's only been my full-time job for a year and I really want to keep pursuing it for the time being. It's been great and I wouldn't swap it for the world. I know everyone eventually has to move on and change but for the time being I'm happy out," she added.
