Instead, the Dubliner will mark the start of the Lucy Kennedy Show with an early night.
Normally seen in the company of Podge and Rodge, this will be the RTE girl's follow-up to the successful Livin' With Lucy show.
The Dubliner is confident that she is on to a winner. But don't expect any fanfare or fireworks in the Kennedy household.
"I'd like to say I've something big planned to mark the first show," she revealed. "But to be honest, I'll probably be in bed before it even comes on.
"I find myself getting up a lot earlier these days so by the time 10 o'clock comes around I just can't keep my eyes open.
"I guess I will have to make a special effort for this, though, if only just to prove to myself that it's all real.
"I still think it's a dream and I'm going to wake up one day and it will all be over.
"It's just so surreal, little old me with my own chat show," she laughed.
However, fans of the quirky TV star need not worry that she'll be coming over all serious on her new show.
"It's basically Livin' with Lucy in a studio," she says.
"The big advantage of doing this is that I can do it from Dublin. It makes it all so much easier.
"It's tricky to describe but I'd say it's pretty informal and a bit like the Charlotte Church Show gone wrong.
"And having my dad on it makes it all the more exciting for me. We have your typical dad/daughter relationship and I think him being there helps me bring the best out of people," she added.
Tonight's episode will see Lucy interview her good friend and fellow chatshow presenter Ryan Tubridy as well as comedian PJ Gallagher.
And the bubbly presenter couldn't be happier with her choice of guests.
"They were absolutely brilliant," she told the Herald. "Everyone's going to have some great laughs when PJ flashes his boxer shorts, not to mention when they learn that Ryan has an addiction to a certain un-named confectionery.
"It was quite strange interviewing Ryan because usually the shoe is on the other foot. Then of course the other shocker is when I do a sketch dressed as Amy Winehouse."
The Lucy Kennedy Show is on RTE 2 at 10.50pm.
