I'll be early bird once again in the New Year, says Louise
TODAY FM's Louise Duffy will become an early bird once again in the New Year.
The presenter, who dates fashionista Paul Galvin, has explained how she'll be moving back to her usual time slot of 5-7am, having presented the evening show recently.
She said it was official that she was back on her show starting from Monday, January 7, before adding how she "missed my morning budgies".
The former AA Roadwatch broadcaster was drafted into the much later time in the station's schedule after Ray Foley's move to 98fm, prompting them to move presenter KC into his lunchtime slot.
She said how working on the show had been a "totally different vibe" to what she had been used to, given that she was going into Marconi House a full 10 hours later.
One of the station's rising stars, she's normally up at 4am to be in Today FM for 4.30am.
She's now looking forward to heading back to her native Mayo to catch up with her family over the Christmas season but revealed how she'll also be making sure to spend some time with her GAA star boyfriend Galvin.
She'll be joining him down in Kerry as they ring in the New Year together, with plans to go to a party in a pal's house to celebrate.
