If you have to lose your phone, best do it in Alpine paradise . . .

WE all hate it when we lose our mobile phone -- but if it's lost on the ski slopes in an Alpine wonderland, surely the pain ain't too bad?

That appears to be the attitude TV presenter Laura Whitmore has adopted.

The 27-year-old revealed her phone is "somewhere up a mountain in Arosa. If you need me, see you at the bar for a gluhwein . . . or mail me".

Newly-single Laura joined friend Amanda Byram for an impromptu ski trip to Switzerland. They were joined by their model friend Alexandra Maurer, with the trio booking their last- minute holiday on New Year's Eve.

They later shared the spectacular views from their hotel windows with their tens of thousands of flowers on Twitter.

"Home for the next few days! #snowybliss" tweeted Amanda, with Laura sharing the same view with her followers with the caption: "Winter Wonderland!"

Last November both girls travelled to Australia to appear on ITV's I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out of Here Now, where Amanda was said to have supported her fellow Irish woman on the Gold Coast following her split from Coronas singer Danny O'Reilly.

Both girls, currently single after Amanda's engagement to rugby player Craig McMullen ended last year, are part of an Irish party set in London, which includes Niall Breslin, stylist Angela Scanlon and Eoghan McDermott.

"It's not intentionally an Irish gang. When I first moved over there, there were no Irish, just one or two but now there is a big gang. When there's a GAA match on or something big, we all go and watch it. It's lovely," Laura said in a previous interview.
