He's snapped some of the world's biggest celebs -- including Michael Fassbender, Gary Oldman and Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery.
Next month, Boo will shoot teen heartthrob Justin Bieber. He's also photographed the world's biggest boyband, One Direction, for Teen Vogue.
Industry insiders say Boo's documentary style of photography is a breath of fresh air in these overly airbrushed times.
Boo studied at Middlesborough College in the UK. He prefers a minimalistic and understated look, and often shoots in black and white.
His restrained portraits of models, such as Agyness Deyn, and actress Rosamund Pike, have been a big hit with fashion editors. He has gone back to a more subdued, but intimate style of photography.
That may explain why Boo is fast becoming one of the hottest photographers in the UK and US.
He's constantly flying around the world and once said his favourite types of jobs are "in countries that are at least two flights away".
But things weren't always so glamorous. Boo moved to London in 2006 and has worked hard to earn his fashion stripes.
"He went to London and he lived on baked beans and scraps of food," Boo's father David revealed. "He worked without being paid for years. Then, he was spotted and now he's the next big thing."
