LOVE is in the air for Hollywood Trials actor Emmet Scanlon this week.

Highly in demand since starring on the hit RTE show earlier this year, the actor has gone from strength to strength since the series rapped.

Tipped to give Colin Farrell a run for his money on the LA movie scene, the offers have come flooding in for the Irish star since his return home.

And now life is set to get even better for the gorgeous Dublin man as he has been spotted out and about on the social circuit lately with blonde beauty Tara Sinnott on his arm.

Most recently spotted at the Batman film premiere held at the Savoy last week, Scanlon has enjoyed a string of dates with the well-known socialite in recent weeks.

Daughter of former owner of the Olympia Theatre, Gerry Sinnott, Tara made her name by following in her father's footsteps and managing Velvet nightclub through its first year of business.

smitten

The pair, who are said to be in the "very early stages of their romance," according to a source, are "completely smitten with one another".

"Tara is absolutely ecstatic about her new man. She's completely head over heels and really hopes their relationship takes off," the source added.

However, the blonde girl about town may be left broken-hearted if Scanlon's plans for Tinseltown domination take off.

Following his stint on Hollywood Trials, where he was one of 10 aspiring actors looking for a shot at the big time, Scanlon is, "hell-bent on making it in the acting business".

During the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity he was introduced to the cutthroat, sink-or-swim Hollywood entertainment world where he lived, breathed and dreamt of the industry for four weeks.

The handsome star who was introduced to the movie business at the tender age of seven has already starred in a host of big name Irish films including the 2005 hit Boys' Life and will no doubt become a permanent fixture on our screens in future.
