Honeymoon is on hold until football finishes, says Bryan

DUBLIN captain Bryan Cullen might have just tied the knot but his new wife will be waiting some time for a honeymoon.

All-Ireland-winning hero Bryan wed sprinter Ailis McSweeney in an intimate New Year's Day celebration in the bride's native Cork last week.

But the Dublin footballer says that the couple's holiday celebration will be on hold until at least after the football season due to their busy schedules.

And if Dublin relive their All-Ireland glory from 2011 and march all the way to the final in Croke Park, it could be the end of the September before the pair can even think about a honeymoon.

"Nothing is planned for now," Bryan (28) told the Herald.

"Maybe we will sort something out later on in the year after the football. It's just a busy time at the moment.

"We had a great few days and it was nice to be able to relax," Bryan said of his special day.

He is enjoying a break and will not return to the Dublin fold until the end of February -- but, in the meantime, he is busy with his role as a coach to players at Leinster Rugby's Academy.

The Beatles started a revolution back in the USSR

If ever a band has been well served by the literary world it's The Beatles. Practically every aspect of that revolutionary body of work has been dealt with in book form... or so one would have thought. From Hunter Davies' The Beatles, through Philip Norman's Shout, Bob Spitz's humongously detailed history and Ian McDonald's brilliant Revolution in the Head, which offered a musical and contextual analysis of every song they ever recorded, surely there's nothing left of interest to diehard fans of the Fabs. Well, think again.
