THEY started their all singing, all dancing careers under the watchful eye of Mickey Mouse.
And it looks like pop sensations and former Disney child stars Britney Spears (31)and Selena Gomez could be teaming up for a pop fantastic duet.
Selena (20) was promoting her upcoming film Spring Breakers in Texas when she broke out into the impromptu version of Britney's iconic hit Baby One More Time.
The slim brunette was busy exercising her vocal chords with fellow cast mates Harmony Korine, Selena, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine.
The girls were reading lyrics off a screen when Britney's 1998 hit popped up.
And Selena wasted no time in belting out the words.
The crowd were impressed with her rendition and cheered as she sang.
And pop veteran Britney was quick to congratulate Selena on her performance, saying she would be happy to duet with the actress anytime.
"Awww," Britney wrote on Twitter. "Selena Gomez can duet with me anytime. PS – I heard Springbreakers is amazing! Can't wait to see it!"
Selena has her own string of pop hits including Love You Like A Love Song. If the two singers joined forces, the duet would be pure bubble gum pop.
The new film is a comedy and it marks a departure from Selena's squeaky clean image.
The star, who dated Justin Bieber, spends most of the film in a bikini hanging out with a dodgy drug dealer played by James Franco.
