JEDWARD managed to grab some precious time back home after jetting into Dublin this week.
They hit the publicity trail early during their time here to film excerpts for Saturday's programme.
Every year, the show's few remaining contestants are followed visiting their home towns for the X Factor special.
The pair started off by heading to their current school, the Institute of Education, where they caught up with some old school friends including student Dermott McMorrough, before heading out to UCD's running track in Belfield.
The twins have won a string of medals competing in athletics.
Yet it was clearly a flying visit for the popular pair. Despite rumours they would join Westlife at Brown Thomas Dublin on Grafton Street, where the boyband turned on the Christmas lights, they left legions of fans bitterly disappointed.
