Top model Andrea Roche has set tongues wagging with a rumoured bid by her to carve out an acting career.
The Tipperary beauty jetted out to Los Angeles last week for what she said was a last-minute sunshine break with a friend.
But a source close to the Assets model and budding stylist has now revealed that gorgeous Andrea is actually holding top-secret meetings with an agent to try to break into acting.
The source said: "She is actually over there talking to an agent about possibly starting an acting career."
If speculation proves to be correct, Andrea will be the latest Irish star to attempt to hit the big time, following in the footsteps of countless well-known faces including, most recently, former RTE presenter Caroline Morahan.
The wife of PJ Mansfield seems to be already getting used to mingling with Hollywood's hottest stars given both she and actress Jessica Alba, actor Gerard Butler and supermodel Helena Christensen were all spotted at the recent U2 gig in Madison Square Garden.

Meanwhile, rumours about the model's desire to spread her wings by starring in her own TV show have also been circulating around the Dublin social scene recently, with some suggesting that she is in top-secret talks to front an America's Next Top Model-style reality competition alongside good pal Rosanna Davison.
The model is already a regular on Irish TV screens and often appears on TV3's Ireland AM as a style guru.
But fronting a high-profile new modelling series would see the brunette's profile soar even further and seal the her status as a household name across the country.
The businesswoman and ex-Miss Ireland was seen at London Heathrow boarding a plane to Los Angeles with a close friend at the beginning of week.
The former Celebrity Bainisteoir star kept her lips sealed about any work arrangements and instead said she was heading over to the City of Angels for a few days of rest and relaxation.
