The stars were out in force for the People's Choice Awards -- with a mixture of playing-it-safe and the bizarre.
While some like Katy Perry didn't put much imagination into her outfit, Harry Potter star Emma Watson (22) wore a busy graphic print dress with daring cut-outs.
Emma took home the award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress for her role in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. She rarely puts a fashion foot wrong, but this dress failed to hit the mark.
Ireland had its own representation at the Los Angeles event in the form of Siva Kaneswaren from The Wanted. The boyband was named Favourite Breakout Artist, beating Carly Rae Jepsen, Fun., Gotye and One Direction to the title at the fan-voted awards.
But it was Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence (22) who swept the board. Lawrence came out on top with six gongs while Perry nabbed the top music categories, including Pop Artist, Female Artist and Music Video.
Jennifer showed off her toned legs in a shimmering black knee -length dress with a split. She wore her hair up and kept accessories to a minimum.
The star collected awards for Favourite Movie, Favourite Action Movie and Favourite Movie Franchise for The Hunger Games. Jennifer attended the event with co-star and Miley Cyrus' fiance Liam Hemsworth. The Australian actor looked sharp in a slick plum-coloured suit and black tie.
Perry's outfit didn't have quite the same impact -- wearing a black floral baby doll dress and her hair braided. But her fans -- 'The KatyCats' -- were cheering her on in force and picked up the award for Best Music Fan Following.
One Direction got the gong for Favourite Song for their smash hit single What Makes You Beautiful, but didn't show up to collect the award in person. The boys, including Niall Horan, are understood to be in London at the moment. Maroon 5 were named Best Band.
Jennifer Aniston (43) picked up the award for Best Comic Film Actress in a flattering leather mini dress and black open toe sandals.
The star was glowing and chatted to her friend Ellen DeGeneres backstage. Ellen scooped the best Daytime TV Host Award while Jimmy Fallon nabbed Favourite Late Night Host. Sherlock Holmes star Robert Downey Junior proved he was all man when he won both the Best Action Hero and Best Superhero Award. Rumor Willis (24) dazzled in a floor-length sequined black and white striped dress.
Lea Michelle (26) also opted for a glitzy look in a thigh-high Barbie pink sequined dress with lace inserts.
The Glee actress completed the look with strappy pink sandals and picked up the award for Best Comic TV Actress.
Adam Sandler was voted Funniest On Screen Actor while Sandra Bullock took the prestigious accolade of Humanitarian Of The Year.
Paris Hilton (31) attended the awards in a garish green shift dress and clunky blue shoes while model and mum Heidi Klum showed off her enviable figure in a slashed black and gold dress.
Mistress of ceremonies Kaley Cuoco kept the crowd entertained with her comic skits. The bubbly blonde actress wore five different dresses, including a fitted pencil dress with peplum waist and a champagne pink dress with full skirt and nude heels.
