They fuelled speculation when they were seen walking arm in arm around the VIP area, as they snuggled up to one another in front of their favourite bands.
However, Laura adamantly denies claims she and Eoghan are anything more than friends, explaining that they were merely keeping each other company as they shot their respective footage of the festival.
"There's definitely no truth to that at all," she told the Diary. "We're just friends."
The two first became friendly at college in DCU and have stayed in close contact since they went their separate ways after graduating in 2003 to pursue journalism.
The Bray native, who landed the coveted spot of MTV's news presenter this time last year, was reluctant to shed any light on her relationship status, however, saying only that she doesn't talk about personal matters.
She returned to London yesterday, explaining that she was exhausted after her hectic weekend of partying with the stars.
"I had a brilliant time, it was great to get home to Ireland for a couple of days," she said, adding that Blur were her favourites at the event.
