Colin splits from his novelist girlfriend

Reformed hell-raiser Colin Farrell has split from his latest girlfriend, novelist Emma Forrest.
The reformed bad boy has been dating the British journalist since June of last year.
The relationship seemed serious, as Colin brought Emma to Cork last summer while he was working on Neil Jordan's film Ondine.
The Castleknock-born actor has recently tamed his wild ways, and lives in LA to be close to his five-year-old son, James.
Farrell and Forrest were introduced by In Bruges director Martin McDonagh. Prior to that, he was in a relationship with Trinity student Muireann McDonnell.
However, Emma (32) insists they are now just friends, and said that he is a wonderful father.
Disregard
"Colin, besides being one of the most brilliant minds I know, is the most instinctively gifted dad I've witnessed outside my own."
Emma also reprimanded distributors for the "disregard" that award-winning movie In Bruges was treated with.
"It is thrilling that In Bruges is finally getting all this recognition," she said.
"Anything good that's happening for that film is despite, not because of, the distributors, who should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
"Not one of us can believe the disregard In Bruges has been handled with. It's a shame."
And she compared the Irish star, who won Best Actor in a Comedy Golden Globe for the movie, to one of the big movie legends.
"I think what Colin does in In Bruges is like De Niro in The King of Comedy," she said.
It was reported that the actor was converting to Judaism for Emma.
He was spotted wearing a chain with a star of David pendant around his neck at a Hollywood party, but this has not been confirmed.
