Claudine and Rob hit town as Ne-Yo mixes with fans

CLAUDINE Keane flew back to Dublin over the weekend to attend a family Christening.

The wife of Ireland soccer captain Robbie Keane made the most of her time back in her home town with a night out on the tiles.

The lingerie model (28) spent Christmas and New Year with her family in their London home as they enjoyed a quiet start to 2013. But Claudine and Robbie, who is based in LA where he plays for LA Galaxy, more than made up for it with a fun-filled evening out in Dublin.

After attending the Christening of her second cousin, the couple and some pals headed into No 37 on Dawson Street.

They were joined by Claudine's mum Joan Palmer, alongside a group of friends including radio DJ Garrett Gunnigle.

There was no sign of any January blues in the southside club on Saturday night as the place was packed with revellers -- including rap star Ne-Yo.

"They were all in great form. Claudine loves the buzz of Dublin and always has a brilliant time coming home.

"It's all so different to the lifestyle in LA, where people aren't into going to the pub so she had a ball," said a source.

Meanwhile, superstar Ne-Yo (30) proved his down-to-earth credentials while enjoying the venue's party atmosphere.

The chart-topper had a VIP area held over for his entourage in the upstairs section, with special red wristbands given to a select number of guests.

However, he snubbed the reserved area in favour of mingling with the customers below.

"Ne-Yo was standing beside the bar in the restaurant area and he had one or two minders with him but he told them not to crowd him and said he wanted to meet his fans," said a source.

"There were so many girls coming up to him, looking for photos with him and he didn't seem to mind in the least.

"He was all smiles and looked like he was having a ball. At one point, the DJ played one of his biggest songs Closer and the whole place erupted."

The rapper, who says he would love to duet with The Script, continued the party with a trip into Lillie's Bordello with the entire members area reserved for the R&B singer.

It was standing room only in the club as Ne-yo took to the decks with resident DJ Tommy Stewart to show his prowess on the turntable, sending the crowd into a spin.

Ne-Yo was in Dublin to perform at the Malibu Red party which took place at the Wright Venue on Friday night. Among those spotted at the bash were Rachel Wallace, Faye Rooney, Emma Waldron, Faith Barnett and Suzanne Jackson.
