Claudine almost misses Paris show after little Robbie hides her passport

MODEL Claudine Keane almost missed her chance to attend a top fashion designer's runway show at Paris Fashion Week -- all because of her little boy's mischievous antics.

WAG Claudine was thrown into panic mode in London yesterday when she couldn't find her passport -- and it was only two hours and one missed train later that she found out that two-year-old son Robert Junior had hidden it in his coat.

The hitch occurred just as the 27-year-old was due to catch a train to the glamorous Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2012 runway show in the French capital.

Claudine, who is a big fan of the luxury couturier and his "lovely dresses", took to her social networking site when she finally got her shopping trip under way -- hours later than planned.

"Only on (the) Eurostar now, my passport disappeared and I found it two hours and one missed train later in Robert Jnr's coat," Robbie Keane's wife posted on Twitter.

The blonde beauty just made it to the star-studded event last night, where she picked up wardrobe tips for VIP magazine's upcoming Style Awards in two months.

The Malahide native scooped the prestigious Most Stylish Woman in Ireland trophy at last year's award ceremony at the Shelbourne Hotel.

Claudine sported a stunning cream and gold figure-hugging gown to collect her gong at the bash and is no doubt hoping to up the fashion stakes again this year.

The LA-based mum-of-one is one of many stars expected to at the ceremony on March 23.

Michael O'Doherty has told the Herald that there are a number of changes in store for this year's event.

This year's instalment will see two presenters compere the event -- and MOD's traditional speech is even being axed from the script.

"We're currently in talks with two TV hosts, we want it to be a proper ceremony. My speech is being cut for the first time too, so I won't be insulting the room for once -- which will be a relief to everyone. I'm happy to stay in the background.

"The awards get bigger every year, this year we're going to have a bigger stage and the room will look more special. We want to really dress up the year and make it a top quality event," he said.

MOD added that the 11th ceremony will see the first time a same-sex couple are in the running to take home an award.

TV3 presenter Alan Hughes and his husband Karl Broderick have been tipped for Ireland's trendiest pair of 2012.

"Alan and Karl were on our cover a few months ago and it's appropriate to nominate them."
