Call girl sparks X Factor fans' anger

The X Factor just got X-rated.

Fans of the hit show are fuming that a prostitute was allowed to perform on the show -- and are expressing their outrage to TV bosses now that details of the 20-year-old's double life have emerged.

Chloe Mafia, real name Chloe Heald, successfully auditioned for the show on Saturday night's episode -- and although Simon Cowell previously said that they would not discriminate against contestants based on their occupation, fans are asking for a different policy.

The singer scraped her way through to the next round at bootcamp, where she has already alienated herself from the other contestants by arriving late with an indifferent attitude.

The single mum from Wakefield in West Yorkshire has been living a double life as a €250-an-hour call girl, and outraged fans in the meantime.

But she defended her controversial lifestyle, saying: "I don't feel degraded about selling my body. I'm getting paid to do what I want. It's really nice.

"Simon said he wasn't going to ban me because I was just making a living."

But fans took to the show's website to announce their discomfort, saying they were horrified with her job.

One fan wrote: "She does a lot of disgusting and nasty things for money, and then dares to go on a national TV show. It's outrageous."

Chloe took to the stage on Saturday night's episode with a rendition of Shakira's Underneath Your Clothes -- but after being booed by the audience, Cowell interrupted her telling her to sing something else.

Ruined

But the reality TV show addict, who previously appeared on the BBC's Snog, Marry or Avoid, said that the X Factor has ruined her life now that details of her secret job is common knowledge.

She said she is terrified to return to her home in Wakefield after her lifestyle was exposed in a Sunday newspaper.

"When I saw the paper, I started crying my eyes out. My friend was crying. My little girl was crying. We were all sat on the newsagent's floor crying," she said.

It was revealed that Chloe works under the name of Candy as an escort on adult website adultwork.com, charging €250 for an hour, €600 for three hours or €1,200 for an overnight stay.
