Shane Lynch's little sister is to follow her Boyzone brother into the limelight.

The Herald can reveal that Naomi Lynch, a professional entertainer, has landed a coveted job touring the world with this year's Top Gear Live Show.

Naomi (24) will take to the stage here in Dublin next month before moving on to tour destinations including Amsterdam, South Africa, Sydney and Hong Kong.

"I'm very excited, I love travelling and this is the perfect way to see the world," she said.

"I'm an entertainer so I do everything from fire eating to stilt-walking. I also used to dance and sing in a band called Buffalo G but I'll mainly be doing stunts with fire in the show."

She added: "I'm touring around Ireland at the moment taking in everywhere from Ennis to Galway to Dublin.

"I'll be leaving next Sunday to go back to London to begin rehearsals before we go on stage in Earl's Court."

Naomi has yet to meet stars of the show Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, but says she can't wait to get to know her idols.

"I am actually a massive fan," she said. "I watch it quite a lot, my brother in law, Andy loves it and he always gets the DVD for Christmas so we all watch it every year on Christmas Day."

Meanwhile, the Dubliner, who comes from a talented showbiz family, is keen to shoot down rumours that her sisters Edele and Keavy are set to reform with their former B*Witched bandmates.

The entertainer claims the sisters are instead planning to launch a double act called Ms Lynch.

The BScene beauty went on to explain how her brother Shane was slowing coming to terms with the fact that his tragic bandmate Stephen Gately is now gone forever.

The Dublin star was distraught upon hearing the news and he and the remaining three Boyzone members have been absent from the limelight since the funeral service took place in the capital two weeks ago.

Shane will return to his duties as a judge on RTE's All Ireland Talent Show this weekend, when he and mentor Evelyn O'Rourke pick the final contestants who will take part in this year's show.

According to Naomi: "Shane's doing okay now. It's still a shock. I don't think everyone believes he's really gone yet."
